The National Tour of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL Announces Local Youth Selected for Spokane Engagement

The National Tour of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL, premiering in Spokane in December 2015, announced today that Noelle Fries and Avery Denney (both age 9) have been selected to perform in roles during the Spokane engagement. Both girls attended auditions held on Monday, September 28 at the INB Performing Arts Center with the national tour Dance Captain, Brooke Martino. Over two dozen applicants registered for auditions and were asked to sing as well as learn choreography from the show as part of the audition process.


20th Anniversary World Tour of Riverdance Includes Former Gonzaga Student in Famous Dance Troupe

While attending Gonzaga University, Julia Gats auditioned for international Irish dance phenomenon, RIVERDANCE, and landed herself a role in the 20th Anniversary World Tour. That tour will arrive in Spokane October 22 for a limited 6 performance run.


Travis Wall - Artistic Director of Shaping Sound Dance Company - Wins Emmy for Outstanding Choreography

(Los Angeles) Break The Floor Productions is thrilled to announce that TRAVIS WALL is the 2015 Emmy Award-winner for ‘Outstanding Choreography’ for his breakout work on FOX TV’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Travis is the leader of ‘Team Stage’ dancers, and a resident choreographer on the show, providing artistic and thought-provoking routines the past several seasons. He won the Emmy-Award this year for his routines Wave, When I Go, and perhaps most importantly, Wind Beneath My Wings.


Shaping Sound remakes beloved show, prepares for 3rd national tour

In this new version, the fabulous Fantastic Four of dance—So You Think You Can Dance’s choreographer/mentor Travis Wall, Season One winner Nick Lazzarini, commercial dancer/choreographer Teddy Forance, and Julliard School alum Kyle Robinson—team up with a group of exquisite dancers, including their female star Jaimie Goodwin. The gorgeous dancers filled the stage with energy and life, utilizing every inch of space for their movement, occasionally even pouring over into the crowd.
